About MIYA

MIYA is an eponymous brand, founded in 2017, born from the balance between the rigor of tech and the freedom of craftsmanship.

In a daily life shaped by structure, analysis, and method, creation emerged as a space to breathe — a return to earth, material, gesture and what truly matters.

Rather than opposing each other, these two worlds complement one another. The precision of tech brings structure and discipline, while craftsmanship introduces sensitivity, intuition, and humanity. Each piece is created at the intersection of both — between control and instinct.

My journey, between Jamaica, Côte d'Ivoire and Paris, deeply influences the world of MIYA. Across cultures, materials, and atmospheres, I have developed an approach where each piece carries a sense of light, texture and presence.

Some creations incorporate meaningful elements such as Ashanti weights or cowries — symbols rooted in ancient traditions. Their presence reflects a respectful approach, extending cultural heritage into contemporary forms.

MIYA creations are designed to bring warmth and balance into spaces. They do not fix a decor, they contribute to creating interiors that feel alive, calm, and deeply personal.
