01 — Pied-à-terre • Paris 16th Arrondissement

Some thoughtful gestures become lasting memories.

For Valentine's Day, her husband wanted to offer more than a gift. He envisioned a surprise that reflected who she was — rooted in natural materials, craftsmanship, and objects with meaning.

Together, we curated a selection for their Parisian home: an XXL mirror, corseted lamps, and linen cushions.

Over time, these creations found their place, becoming quiet presences that accompany both the spaces and the moments of everyday life.

Some encounters span years.

Josy was one of the first people to support the MIYA journey. Present from the beginning, she witnessed the birth of the first creations, the first ideas, and sometimes the most unexpected ones.

As collections evolved, universes shifted and new inspirations emerged, she remained there — curious, enthusiastic and always ready to follow these creative explorations.

Her home now welcomes several MIYA creations: lighting pieces, linen cushions and objects collected and crafted over time.

This stopover also tells that story: trust, lasting encounters and the people who inspire us to keep creating.

03 — A contemporary home in Cotonou

Some homes are built like collections.

Objects gathered over time, craftsmanship, sculptural pieces, memories and cultural references coexist naturally within this interior. Contemporary creations and objects carrying history come together in a dialogue between materials, memory and heritage.

MIYA creations found their place here through mirrors, linen cushions and lighting pieces — not as additions, but as a continuation of an already inhabited universe.

A sculptural mirror settled into the stairway. The lighting pieces joined collected objects and works rooted in African craftsmanship. Linen cushions brought new textures to spaces already shaped by their identity.

04 — A Home in the Making • Maryland

Some homes are decorated. Others are built from the inside out.

In Maryland, Shirley and John are shaping their home as a deeply personal project, inspired by two lives devoted to creativity, fashion, travel and meaningful encounters.

Here, each space reveals itself gradually. Materials, objects and memories find their place over time, within a contemporary interior designed to be lived in, shared and continually reimagined.

MIYA's creations have begun to find their place in the home through linen cushions and lighting pieces.

It is the beginning of an installation that will continue to evolve alongside the spaces and new pieces created especially for this setting.

This stopover tells the story of a home still unfolding—and a creative encounter that is only just beginning.
